bidding...bidding...bidding...

still thinking about the project (assignment 01). I've not yet identified a focus group which I can generate ideas for yet.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs

Some JAVA stuff

Phone Google
(hmm what about a Google Earth-style picture book contributed by camera phones. Strict rules apply to the content of the photogrpahy but will be entirely public contribution...)

MPowerPlayer SDK for OS X

Blogger on your phone
(how about an advancement to the Grameen phone--using it to bulk sms other villages or as a digital noticeboard--something like that)

As for communties/villages in need, how about Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam? Find a need and address it!

bidding...& biding...bidding...& biding...bidding...& biding...

weekend01

yes, i know i haven't posted in some time but I've been caught up in eBay-ing and tending to my swollen knee (rlly!)

My kneecap blew up to the size of a half-grapefruit on friday arvo after limping between uni and home (seemed like a good idea at the time). I've been icing it over the entire weekend. Seems ok now. I nearly shat my pants. I was scared I might need surgery or sumthin, it was seriously that bad.

Anyways, I've been reading up source materials (websites, wiki entries, etc.) for the first assignment as well as reading Usability Engineering by J. Nielsen (due back on Tues. 01 Aug.)

Right now, I'm finding it hard to choose between Infodemo and Photography.

cheers!
Please pray for my knee!
